Summer Water Sports 2026

Lauderdale Lakes – Elkhorn, Wisconsin

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Adaptive Mobility Providers (AMP) at Lauderdale Lakes in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.. We are a nonprofit organization committed to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with physical, cognitive or visual disabilities so they may experience the joy and freedom of adaptive sports. Through our year-round programs, clinics, and community events, we empower youth, adults, and injured military veterans to stay active, build confidence, and connect through movement.

Our Summer Water Sports Program depends on the generosity, enthusiasm, and dedication of volunteers like you. By joining our team, you help make every lesson, every glide, and every moment of achievement possible—fostering independence, community, and lifelong impact both on and off the slopes.

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION COMING SOON- Please fill out this form and we will reach out shortly! Upon completion of filling out the form, you will be re-directed to a Volunteer Page that contains our handbook and essential wavers to fill out.

KEY PROGRAM DATES:

Volunteer Orientation – Please try and join us for our volunteer and staff training.

  • May 27th - 10 am - 2 pm, weather permitting 

  • June 10th ONLY IF May 27th is cancelled due to weather restrictions

Adaptive Water Sports Dates - ELKHORN, WI

  • June 10th and June 24th

  • July 8th and July 22nd

  • August 5th and 19th


All sessions run 10 AM – 3 PM.  You are welcome to volunteer for as many days as your schedule allows. Registration opens in mid-April.


What to Bring & Wear

  • A towel and change of clothes

  • Sunscreen

  • A hat and sunglasses

  • Swimsuit or quick-dry athletic wear

  • Closed-toe shoes that can get wet (water shoes or gym shoes)

  • A spirit of adventure!

PUBLIC-FACING SPORT PROTECTION NOTICE

Adaptive Mobility Providers (AMP) is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. As a Move United member organization, AMP follows the Move United Sport Protection standards to prevent abuse, misconduct, and inappropriate behavior in sport.

AMP Prohibits:

  • Sexual misconduct or harassment

  • Bullying, hazing, or retaliation

  • Grooming behaviors or boundary violations

  • Inappropriate physical contact

  • Exposing minors to sexual content or imagery

  • Abuse of process or interference with a report

Requirements:

AMP requires all coaches, volunteers, and staff who work with athletes to complete annual safety training and criminal background screening.

Report a Concern:

Anyone who sees, experiences, or suspects misconduct should report it immediately. Reports can be made to AMP leadership, to Move United, or to law enforcement if safety is at risk.
